They help promote healing at the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. They help to raise our vibration. They are used by applying to the skin or by inhalation. They can be inhaled by diffusing them, by boiling in a pot of water or by simply smelling the bottle directly. Flower essences – were created by Dr. Bach in the 1920s-1930s. There are 38 flower essences total and they help restore us to balance and wholeness. They remove negativity from the emotions. The removal of negativity allows the body to heal itself in peace. Flower essences contain the vibration of the flowers, not the oils, so there is absolutely no side-effects or allergic reactions that are possible. They are preserved in a small amount of alcohol but there are alcohol-free versions available as well. Flower essence remedies work by balancing the body with the mind.To take a remedy, just drop a few drops in a glass of water or on the tip of your tongue and you will feel its effects immediately. Remedies refer to the mixing of flower essences. Generally no more than six are mixed together but any combination is possible—there is no “wrong” ones to take. If you accidentally take the wrong flower essence, it simply won’t have any effect on you. They are safe for children and for pets and can be taken at least four times a day until you feel better.

Medicine Wheel – a symbolic Native American circle of stones arranged to bring peace and balance back to Earth and all its relations.
Meditation – quieting the mind and allowing yourself to just be. These are several kinds of meditation:
-Mantra
Mantra-based meditation is about repeating a mantra either aloud or silently. Doing this allows you to leave ego behind and shift to the present. Om is Sanskrit that translates to Amen. It is the sound of contact with the Divine and is a powerful mantra that can be chanted during meditation to free and release your energies. Picture the symbol of Om on your body over the center of your stomach and breathe in, silently sounding Om in your mind. Exhale and sound Om aloud and picture its energy filling up your entire body, chakras and aura to help strengthen your energy fields.
-Contemplation
Meditate on filling your being with love. See love entering you and filling you. Vibrate love, tune into the frequency of love. Be love. You can do this with health or with abundance or any other positive trait you wish to bring into your life.
-Concentrative Meditation
Focus on a thought, an image, the flame of a candle, a crystal—anything. It can be a plant or a tree or an Archangel. It can be a word, a color, an animal. Whatever it is, keep your focus on that one thing and nothing else, without getting distracted. This helps to focus the mind, and this is essential to controlling anxiety. If you are anxious while riding a train to work, hold a thought in your mind and focus on just that thought to take you out of your anxious situation and into the present moment of peace.
-Walking Meditation
Focus completely on walking. Focus on what you are doing in the present moment and release all distractions that come up in your head. Simply send your thoughts down the river and return your focus to the present moment.
-Breathing Meditation
Simply focus on your breathing. Breath in, pause, breathe out, pause and keep repeating. Take long, deep breaths from your diaphragm and relax your body. Clear all thoughts and let your mind be on the present moment and nothing else. Controlling your breathing, as already stated, is how you control anxiety. Breathing deeply contradicts it. So it is a great meditation to do to get into the habit of breathing deeply rather than hollowly high up in the chest.
-Listening Meditation
This is a great meditation to do at the beach or by a stream or in a field or forest or some place where you can be alone out in nature. Just close your eyes and breathe while being receptive and open while you listen to all the healing sounds around you. Let the sounds uplift your energy. This is how you listen to your inner guidance as well. In inclement weather you can do this indoors with nature sounds or singing bowls playing from your speakers. You can find plenty of options on youtube.com. It is common to drift and get distracted by thoughts and things you need to do. Just watch them go down the river without judgment. Send them on their way and bring yourself back to serenity.
-Guided Meditation
These are meditations that you can buy as mp3s on the internet or as a cd. There are many different guided meditations. They can be for finding your guides, your angels, connecting with the Archangels, finding your animal guides, balancing your chakras, clearing negativity, bringing success into your life, etc.
-Visualization
With visualization you can be anywhere. This is a great way to create your inner sanctuary—the place you create in your imagination that you can go to at any moment—it’s only a thought away. What place is beautiful and safe to you? What is your paradise? Create this place and all the details of the senses that make it up. Get deep into these details from smells, sights, sounds, the way the ground feels, etc. Now you have a safe place to go to when you want to meet a guide or angel. They will meet you there and speak with you. A good thing to do is to create a trail to your special place from your seat as you meditate. See yourself walking up this path to get to your sanctuary and when you are done, walk back down the path and back to your seat. This comfortably brings you into and takes you out of Spirit and out of your body and back into it. Here are some visualizations you can do for protection:
-Crystal Meditation
You can hold a crystal in your hand while meditating or make a large circle of crystals and lie in the center for 20 minutes for a healing meditation. You can hold Selenite in your palms while sitting in the lotus position, for example, to help you connect to spiritual guidance. You can surround yourself with healing crystals such as Jade to bring in good health. You can surround yourself in a circle of Angelite to connect to your angels. You can picture yourself entering a cave of these crystals and make a beautiful journey out of it. There are endless possibilities. More on crystals in the Crystals section.

Oracle cards vs. Tarot Cards – the difference is in structure. Tarot cards are structured in a way that is more strict. Each card has specific meanings to it. Tarot decks have five suits. Oracle cards can have any number of cards in its deck whereas tarot cards always have the exact same amount. Original Tarot cards can have oftentimes dramatic artwork (crumbling towers, the devil, swords, etc.). There are gentler versions of tarot cards that use angels instead. Tarot cards have more depth than oracle cards and there is more to learn and more time is required to get to know them than oracle cards. Oracle cards are gentler and easier to work with for beginners.

Prayer – the act of talking to Creator, your angels, whomever you call upon, either silently or in your head. Prayer is speaking from your heart. It isn’t so much the words that count but the intention behind them.
Psychic Attack – When someone, either consciously or unconsciously, sends negativity, hate, jealousy or despise toward another. This energy sent to the person can disrupt their lives if they are not well protected. However, the person sending the psychic attack receives this negativity tenfold, as that is the law of attraction of the universe: what gets sent out comes back to you.
Psychic Debris – stuff that clings to our aura and chakras from other people. These things you want to cleanse away so that it does not cause dis-ease in the physical body later.
Psychic Vampirism – when someone of a lower vibration siphons off the energy of a person with a higher vibration, draining them. Usually the person siphoning the energy isn’t aware of it or their energy. You can protect yourself by setting the intention that you will not allow others to take your energy. Crystals and your angels can protect you from this. Just being able to say “no” to others can protect you.

-W-
-X-
-Y-
Yin and Yang – male and female energies of the universe. Everything on earth has a vibration, or an energy. Thus everything has either a negative or a positive charge. Yin and Yang represent these two opposite energies in Qi life force energy: female and male. This is one of the seven universal laws and it is an important concept in traditional Chinese medicine and Feng Shui. In 700 B.C. its earliest reference was found inscribed on oracle bones and had to do with day and night. Another reference had to do with the shady and sunny sides of a hill. Each is a counterpart of the other and each is dependent on the other. They are both separate and independent yet together to make a whole. They represent eternal change and harmony. The symbol for Yin and Yang is the Taiji. The dot within each part means that each contains the seed of the other; therefore, our energies are never stagnant but always interchanging with one another, always seeking balance and harmony. The Taiji is a symbol of eternity; each goes into the other.
Even though we are born in one gender, we all contain both energies within. Like the four elements, one energy cannot survive without the other—they complement each other. When we are unbalanced, it is because we either have too much yin or too much yang. When there is too much of one, it weakens the other. To balance both of these energies is to be in harmony with ourselves, with others and with the world. Balanced yin/yang energy results in us feeling whole and complete within ourselves.
Feminine, or yin, energy is about receiving energy and inward manifestation. Masculine, or yang, energy is about giving out energy and outward manifestation. Yin creates Yang and Yang activates Yin. Without both of these energies working together in balance, nothing in the universe would work. Yin energy uses inward imagination and creativity to generate new ideas and come up with new concepts; yang energy puts those concepts into physical action on the physical plane. Without yin energy, there would be chaos in law, as there would be no restraints put on them. Without yang energy, all ideas would just exist on the inner planes of imagination and never be put into physical form. It is both of these energies working together in constant interchanging harmony that results in success.
-Z-
